From Fairfield we will improvise the best route to the coast through/around San Francisco.

Good on you Santi and Carolyn, may I suggest an alternate route in California? I am a former resident of Northern California and know the Fairfield area fairly well. It may be possible to be shuttled due north to Santa Rosa California and resume your journey skiing through the costal towns of Seabastopol and Bodega Bay. The Point Reyes National Seashore or Bodega Bay is not far, this would finish your journey. My humble advice would be to avoid the SF bay area due to traffic for safety issues and the crush of publicity being an election year and as well the unpredictible political and ecomomic climate common to California. You may face difficulties obtaining permits and releases for insurance liabilities. Please seek the best advice regarding this but keep a level focused commitment to your cause. I wish you the best and wish I could join you in part of your journey.
God speed!
Hi Harold,
Thank you for the advice! We will probably be skirting the north edge of San Francisco to avoid the traffic.
After reading your blog post I browsed your website a bit and noticed you aren’t ranking nearly as well in Google as you could be. I possess a handful of blogs myself and I think you should take a look here: http://dominateseowithwordpress.com You’ll find it’s a very nice tool that can bring you a lot more visitors. Keep up the quality posts
We were in St. Jos. parish today, and heard your story…the trip planning, and your personal passion for feeding people. My husband is with the local food shelf, including meals for kids on the weekend, and I do Habitat for Humanity. We are behind you, we will be watching and praying for you …for safety and for success !!
Thank you Diane!
Awesome thing you guys are doing! We are all cheering for you at the LCO Boys and Girls Club. Have a fun time!

Congrats on great Birkies! Thanks for caring so much for the poor! Thanks for being who you are! Be safe! — Elton
Thank you Elton!
Que Pasa, Santi & Carolyn — Glad you’re off and skiing and enjoying the Southern terrain and hospitality. We’ll be following your progress closely and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. (Remember, if you get really, really hungry you can always pull down some Spanish moss from the live oak trees and boil it for supper — NOT!) Stay safe and Godspeed!
Haha, thank you Uncle Peter and Aunt Carol! so we have heard with the Spanish Moss! It gives the gift of itchy chiggers!
